Sowing

No this isn’t a blog about sewing – it’s about sowing.  Sowing the seeds of faith into ourselves and others and letting the Holy Spirit germinate and grow them.  He’s done that in me….many (necessary) times….over the years – planted a seed and let it grow – and He continues to do it on a regular (and much needed) basis.  We are never done growing, nor sowing seeds – in ourselves and others.  To God be all the glory.

1 Corinthians 15: 37-38

When you sow, you do not plant the body that will be, but just a seed, perhaps of wheat or of something else. But God gives it a body as he has determined; to each kind of seed he gives its own body.

2 Corinthians 9: 6-9

Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. As it is written: “He has scattered abroad his gifts to the poor; his righteousness endures forever.”
